Overview
The Dominican Republic's Ministry of Public Administration is committed to applying the Universal DPI Safeguards Framework to three foundational components of its national DPI ecosystem: the Plataforma Única de Interoperabilidad, Cuenta Única digital identity and authentication infrastructure, and Carpeta Ciudadana digital wallet. Together, these systems enable secure data exchange, digital identity and authentication, and citizen-controlled digital credentials, supporting a more integrated, proactive, and citizen-centered digital government. The commitment seeks to ensure these systems are safe, inclusive, trustworthy, and rights-respecting while generating public value and contributing to the SDGs.
