Overview
The Mifos Initiative, a global financial inclusion nonprofit and steward of the Mifos X and Payment Hub EE Digital Public Goods, committed to advancing the Universal DPI Safeguards Framework across the financial inclusion ecosystem. Its commitment focuses on an upstream-first development model to strengthen security and reduce technical debt, user-driven product roadmaps, and safeguards-by-design training for local system integrators. Mifos will also advance modularity and interoperability, offline-first mobile applications, greater financial transparency, and enhanced reporting to support inclusive, sustainable, and accountable last-mile financial services.
