The International Organizations Consultative Group (IOCG) is part of the DPI Safeguards initiative. The group’s contributions were essential during the conceptualization and design of the Universal DPI Safeguards Framework in 2024. This year, the IOCG continues to offer support, particularly towards the evolution, mainstreaming and adoption of the Universal DPI Safeguards Framework. The group’s inputs will be critical for the creation of related knowledge products to ensure the Universal DPI Safeguards Framework is relevant and applicable to local contexts. The IOCG is made up of nominated representatives from humanitarian agencies, multilateral development banks and organizations, all working towards advocating for the adoption of DPI safeguards within international organizations. These organizations are involved in designing and implementing DPI globally, regionally and locally, at a country or a sub-national level, by providing technical assistance, capacity building,and/or funding.
