Overview
OpenFn committed to adopting the Universal DPI Safeguards Framework in the design, development, and deployment of its verified Digital Public Good, which supports integration and automation across the DPI ecosystem. The commitment focuses on privacy and security by design, including data minimization, configurable retention, encryption, protected credentials, role-based access, and full audit trails, alongside ongoing security reviews and independent audits. OpenFn will also strengthen multi-stakeholder governance, build safeguards into capacity strengthening for government technical teams, and support redress through its audit trail capabilities. It will keep OpenFn and its adaptor library open and reusable, share lessons with other Digital Public Goods and governments, and publish a 12-month action plan with progress reported through the Action Tracker.
